Amazing place to stay Positive: Amazing location, right next to the old town and everything in walking distance - there is a metal blind on the outside of the window that you can lower at night and that cut out most of the road noise too. The virtual receptionist - as these are apartments there isnt an actual reception, but messaging through Booking.com got a response within 5minutes every time and they were very friendly The host was exceptionally accommodating, allowing us to check in 4 hours early when we arrived and keeping our bags for us when we checked out before we went to the airport The room itself was immaculate and had everything we needed. Negative: We loved the whole thing. One thing to be aware of is that the building itself doesn't look great when you enter - but that is because it is a shared building that has certain protection laws applied meaning it cannot be renovated. Please do not let that put you off because as soon as you walk through your apartment door, everything is perfect!

Bucharest home away from home Positive: The apartment felt newly refurbished and was very clean. We value self check-in so it does not matter when your flight time is, and the check-in instructions came through in the morning which were very clear and included videos. The entrance to the building has clear signs outside showing where the door is. There were welcome gifts on the table, and clear instructions pf how to operate the windows, appliances, etc. The balconies were lovely. In maybe 5 minutes you can walk to the centre of the old town or to a metro station, and it is also well placed to walk to the Palace of Parliment. We loved it! Negative: N/A

Amazing apartment in great location Positive: The communication with hosts and detailed description for the apartment, local amenities, things to do and tips for buses, Ubers etc. were very helpful. Location 2 min walk from old town. Extremely upto date apartment, exceptionally clean, well equipped for couple of nights stay. Comfy beds, heated flooring, air con. Also never seen such high tech shower and toilet. Fab. We had a room with balcony overlooking the river, yes there is a busy road outside but with the sound proofing and shutters it did not bother us. Yes it’s in an old building with shared entrance which is not maintained as nice but once in apartment you don’t know that and the contrast between old and new is vast. Superior stay Positive: Everything was super, local recommendations, apartment, the view

Great stay, central location, responsive hosts Positive: Clean and good location. Apartment was small but had everything you would need. The fact you can have an early and late check in/out was fab too. We have a slight issue with the thermostat and it was sorted within minutes of advising them via the app. Negative: Nothing - the outside and hallway isn’t the nicest of areas but it’s what we expected of an old Eastern European apartment block.
